If the peripheric neuropathy recurs after renewal ZERIT, the permanent arrest needs to be considered.
Interval between doses ZERIT (stavudine) should be 12 hours. ZERIT it can be taken over with or without the foodstuffs.
Pediatrics : Recommended dose for neonatal from a birth till 13 days - 0.5 mg/kg/dose, given each 12 hours. A recommended dose for pediatric patients at least 14 days and weighing less than 30 kg weighing less - 1 mg/kg/dose, given each 12 hours. The pediatric patients scaling 30 kg or should receive recommended adult dosage more.
Adults: The recommended dose based on weight of a body the following:
- 30 mg twice daily for patients <60 kg.
- 40 mg twice daily for patients 60 kg.
